What We Do

Our aim is to help young cancer patients through the most difficult times by offering an escape during treatment. This can be through small gifts and gestures or through our 'Wishes'. Thanks to many kind donations we have been able to help pay for toys, books and bits of tech for young patients to enjoy. We have also worked with generous members of the community to create more personal gifts.

Here are some of the small ways our funds have helped this inspirational bunch of young people.

We have purchased many recreational items for the teenagers' day room at UCH such as a Yamaha keyboard, Xbox Bundles, TVs, mobile phones, laptops and ipads.

Hats remind us very much of Amy. During her years of treatment Amy lost her hair three times and had lots and lots of hats – she loved them. We have bought hundreds of trendy hats for the patients and we also have 2 knitting groups who work tirelessly and produce a wonderful selection of beanie hats.

Since 2011 our charity has donated funds to pay a London hotel to provide Christmas day lunch for inpatients and their families at the teenage cancer unit at UCLH. We go in to the unit on Christmas day to help distribute the lunch and meet with the families.
